The hotel is situated in the heart of Liverpool's commercial district and completed in January 2020. With approximately 300,000 sq ft of internal space comprising of hotel, offices, leisure & retail accommodation and with basement parking, this redevelopment project will create a vibrant new mixed-use destination within the city.

The property comprises an upscale 4-star hotel operated under the ‘INNSiDE’ brand by Meliá, Spain's largest hotel chain. Spread over 17no. floor levels, the hotel will comprise 207no. ‘en-suite’ bedrooms, a contemporary open plan restaurant featuring a show kitchen with a bar and lounge, 6no. fully equipped conference rooms, a double height rooftop Skybar with an outdoor terrace with exceptional city views. Approximately 50,000 sq ft of ‘Grade A’ commercial space, 15,000 sq ft of dedicated gym space and 4no. prime retail units on the ground floor will complete the make-up of this mixed-use development.

Futureserv completed the RIBA Stage 4 MEP Technical design of the hotel and provided technical support and monitoring during the construction period.

New Travelodge, Leicester

Futureserv carried out the MEP design from initial concept through to RIBA Stage 3 level of detail to facilitate the conversion of an existing concrete structure into a Travelodge hotel. The 3-storey building is located above Leicester’s Haymarket shopping centre on top of a large multi-storey carpark, resulting in a number of Engineering challenges to be overcome including drainage coordination and a major constraint of only a limited ‘floor to soffit’ height.

The 67no. bedroom hotel which has entrances at both carpark and street level was completed and handed over in 2020, bringing new life into a previously disused property.

SACO, Construction Value - £29M

A new luxury 22 storey aparthotel located within London's Square Mile. The BREEAM Excellent rated development contains 168 studios & bedrooms, gymnasium, dining spaces and meeting rooms.

The air-conditioned apartments include ultrafast Wi-Fi, centralised lighting controls, smart HD TV’s and high specification finishes. The design led development features a double height, ground floor reception and public areas with scene set automatic LED lighting systems throughout.

The building is protected by wet risers, domestic sprinklers and an L1 fire detection system. 

Futureserv undertook both the concept and detailed design of the mechanical, electrical and vertical transportation systems.  

 

Indigo Hotel - Liverpool City Centre

Futureserv Engineers have completed the detailed design of the new Indigo Hotel located in Liverpool City Centre.

The eye catching development provides over 150 bedrooms, together with leisure, fitness and administration areas and incorporates air conditioning throughout, with high levels of IT connectivity for its guests.

The seven storey building is set within a challenging site location with existing commercial and financial institutions operating in immediate adjacency.

Ibis, Construction Value - £12.5M

Futureserv engineers led the detailed design of the Mechanical and Electrical Building Services for the new 150 bed Ibis Hotel located within a mixed used development on Great Ancoats Street, Manchester.

The hotel, part of a £12.5M development was constructed by GalifordTry in 2012 and was designed to meet the Accor Group specification for new UK hotels.

The Hotel also feature a feature double height reception and dining area incorporating bespoke lighting solutions.

Adagio Hotel - Liverpool City Centre

During 2011 and 2012 Futureserv provided Building Services Consultancy duties for a new 120 Bedroom Boutique Apart-Hotel located within an existing Art-Deco Grade 1 listed building in Liverpool City Centre.

Original features including bespoke luminaires were refurbished and converted to utilise LED light sources and incorporated into the final design.

The development is integral within a mixed use scheme comprising leisure, commercial and retail uses over nine stories with a new plaza and boardwalk externally.

The development was completed on time in 2012 and became the first Adagio Branded hotel in the UK

Cadbury House Hotel - Bristol

The new extension to the established Cadbury House Hotel, Hampton by Hilton in Bristol provides a further 60 air conditioned bedrooms.

Careful co-ordination and detailed surveys of the existing building systems were required to allow the hotel to remain open throughout the construction of the new phase.

Futureserv provided detailed MEP design for the project and all works were completed successfully without disruption or interuption to the existing rooms.
